The Ritual Committee at Temple Beth Sholom, in concert with Rabbi Bazer, supervises all Religious Services of the Congregation. The Committee considers and approves the manner in which our services are observed and makes recommendations to the Board of Trustees on other matters concerning the religious activities of the congregation.
The Ritual Committee meets monthly to plan for upcoming holiday services and to discuss ways to make our services more meaningful.
Temple Beth Sholom conducts two morning and five evening minyans each week, from Sunday through Friday, as well as Shabbat services each Friday night and Saturday morning. Evening minyan begins at 7:15 pm Sunday through Thursday. Morning minyan begins at 7:00 am on Friday and 9:00 am on Sunday. Kabbalat Shabbat services begin at 7:30 pm on Friday nights. Please check the calendar for the month to see which is happening as the service times may change due to special programming. Shabbat morning services are held at 6:45 am in the chapel and at 9:30 am in the main sanctuary. Kiddush follows the later service at its conclusion.
If you are interested in volunteering to daven during a weekday or Shabbat service or would like to chant Torah or Haftorah, please contact the Ritual committee. We welcome your participation.
