Kagedan. These women all play(ed) enormous roles in opening the
rabbinate to women. As TBS welcomes our first female rabbi, we are eager
to explore the many questions that arise with this exciting new change.
What are the challenges to having women serve in the role of rabbi? Who
are the women who took on and overcame these obstacles? And what is the status of women rabbis in the different movements, today?
