TBS Tree Fundraiser

This summer, we needed to take down several trees surrounding the Garden of Meditation. Unfortunately, they were all dying, and we feared they would fall in a storm with heavy winds. From the moment the trees came down, we knew we had to plant new ones. We have such a beautiful space in front of the temple, and new, healthy trees will only enhance that beauty.

We hope to start planting by this summer. The plan is for 6-8 new trees. Varieties may include Japanese Maple, Cherry, Red or Silver Maple, Pear, Thunder Cloud Plum, and Dogwood.

Cost, including labor, is approximately $1,200 per tree. The plan is to raise $10,000. Any amount over that will go to additional beautification of our outdoor space.
